Lakeside Community Garden
Being a part of Lakeside Community Garden is a crucial piece our programming. One in five Canadians over the age of 15 have a disability, making up a 5th of our communities. A large part of the acceptance and understanding of individuals with exceptionalities, is interaction and engagement within the community. Having a shared passion and respect for our food and our environment is a great common ground to start new friendships and strengthen our relationships.

Kingston Community Health Centre
We have the privilege of running our CommUnity Cafe in the KCHC facility on Weller Ave.
Utilizing their beautiful commercial kitchen spaces, we prepare fresh lunches every Friday throughout the year. Visit our menu page to see our list of food offerings.
Kingston Community Health Centre offers a wide range of programs and services, and has been building relationships, providing care, and offering support in our community for almost 40 years.

Kingston Community House
We run most of our Skills Development Programming from the Kingston Community House. The Kingston Community House (or “99 York”) is a not-for-profit organization that provides safe, comfortable, and inclusive meeting spaces for community groups and individuals. For 40 years, the house has served as a gathering point where folks come together, learn from another, share resources, and trade skills. 99 York was founded on the belief that everyone has the capacity to take responsibility for themselves given the proper tools and encouragement. A typical day at at the house may include a cooking class, a meditation group, and a film screening. Or an art class, a book club, and a 12-step program. The house exists to serve those who value the importance of working together for a more interconnected and self-reliant lifestyle based on enriched relationships and communities, not consumer goods.t to explain to visitors what you do or inform them about other subjects.
